Am I a candidate?

If you are nearsighted, farsighted or astigmatic, you could be a candidate to undergo LASIK in Toronto or at one of the other Bochner locations. The ideal candidate is normally 18 years or older, with generally healthy eyes and a stable prescription that has not changed significantly within the past 12 months.

Patients with certain severe medical conditions such as diabetes of the proliferative type and severe optic nerve problems may not be candidates.

To help you understand more about your vision and to determine if you are a candidate for LASIK Eye Surgery or cataract surgery, the Bochner Eye Institute offers complimentary, no-obligation consultations and informational seminars. Please contact us to schedule your consultation or for more information about LASIK Eye Surgery.

The team at the Bochner Eye Institute is dedicated to providing quality vision care for all their patients. Many patients who are not candidates for LASIK are able to have their vision corrected by PRK. Other patients visit the Bochner locations for implantable contact lenses or keratoconus treatment.

Which procedure is the best for you can be determined only during your personal consultation with one of our talented eye surgeons – Dr. Raymond Stein & Albert Cheskes' surgical team.
