Is the LASIK procedure right for me?

The ideal candidate is normally 18 years or older, with a stable prescription that has not changed significantly within the past 12 months. Ideal candidates will also have generally healthy eyes and should have realistic expectations. Although our results from LASIK do surpass the national averages, we cannot guarantee any perfect vision following their procedure. Patients with certain severe medical conditions such as diabetes of the proliferative type and severe optic nerve problems, etc. may not be candidates.
